Dziś książka z nurtu słowiańskiego fantasy, czyli „Chąśba” Katarzyny Puzyńskiej. Historia dzieje się w Królestwie, które zamieszkują ludzie i istoty magiczne, a nad nimi czuwają słowiańscy bogowie. Żyją tam Zamir, Strzebor i Marzanna. Jeden z nich jest mającym swoje lata katem, drugi młodym mężem starej karczmarki, a trzecia to Bogini zimy, której wszyscy szukają, by spalić na stosie i utopić. Wszystko komplikuje się dopiero, gdy ze świątyni znika tarcza Jarowita – boga nie znającego litości – zaś Strzebor zostaje oskarżony o morderstwo i musi uciekać, by móc dowieść swej niewinności. Na dodatek w lesie zostaje znaleziony odmieniec – chromy chłopiec. Czy to on zmieni losy grodziska? A może nawet całego Królestwa? Tak czy inaczej, wiadomo jedno – topór wszystko zakończy.

Today a book from the Slavic fantasy trend, that is „Hąśba” by Katarzyna Puzyńska. The story takes place in a kingdom inhabited by humans and magical beings, and watched over by Slavic gods. Zamir, Strzebor and Marzanna live there. One of them is an executioner who has his years, the second is the young husband of an old innkeeper, and the third is the Goddess of Winter, whom everyone seeks to burn at the stake and drown. Everything only gets complicated when the shield of Jarowit – a god who knows no mercy – disappears from the temple, while Strzebor is accused of murder and has to flee to prove his innocence. In addition, a changeling – a lame boy – is found in the forest. Will he be the one to change the fate of the stronghold? Or maybe even the whole kingdom? Either way, one thing is known – the axe will end everything.
